“This boutique hotel struck me as a place of contrasts: moments of quiet beauty offset by potential disruptions, a unique aesthetic that might not suit every taste. It's a vibrant spot near the DLR and local cafes, with a 24-hour reception offering flexibility; still, light sleepers might find the noise from adjoining rooms a challenge. If you appreciate quirky character and don't mind a bit of clutter, it's worth considering.”

Charming Stay Near Limehouse

polite staff clean room unique hotel
I found the staff very polite and helpful. This. The room was clean with bottled water provided. This unique hotel is nicely decorated inside and out. It definitely has character.
The lighting was bright in the evening. It made sitting in the main areas a bit less comfortable. I feel this detail impacted the overall ambiance slightly.
Location
9/10
The hotel offered a good location. I found it convenient for accessing local transport. It is near a station making travel easy. This allowed for quick journeys to various attractions (I easily reached several landmarks).
Service
9/10
The receptionist was friendly and helpful. They escorted guests to their rooms. The staff took a genuine interest in. It was a nice touch.
Dining
8/10
The hotel had a restaurant, though I thought the food was less interesting than expected. Breakfast had a variety of fresh items. (The coffee was great!). I enjoyed trying different options.
Rooms
9/10
My room featured bright decor and extras in the bathroom. The hotel uses authors' names for the rooms, which i found creative. It added a unique touch. The room had amenities that were useful.

excessive trinkets limited minibar
The hotel displayed an excessive amount of trinkets. It was a bit much (in my opinion). These items filled not only the common spaces but also encroached upon available space in the room itself. I also found the minibar lacking. It did not contain a sufficient selection of beverages and snacks. The breakfast area experienced overcrowding during peak hours. This made navigating the buffet and finding a table rather difficult.
